Panagbenga in Baguio, Philippines 2012

I almost forgot this festival from North of Philippines.  Flowers, Flowers, Flower Festival!

If you want to experience a celebration of culture, thanksgiving, and colors this weekend, the Panagbenga Festival will deliver that and more!

An army of visitors are expected to flock the streets of Baguio City on February 25 for the Grand Street Parade! The participants in colorful flower-inspired costumes and native Ifugao garb will perform ethnic dances and create unique artistry that only the people of Baguio can offer.

The Flower Parade will start at 8am but it is advised for spectators to arrive earlier so they can secure a comfortable and photo-perfect spot. The parade will start at the Panagbenga Park and end at the Baguio Athletic Bowl.

Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival 2012

Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival March 2-4, 2012
The Malasimbo Music & Arts Festival is truly one of the world's most enchanting of it's kind; set in the lush rolling tropical paradise of the Philippines, flanked by coconut trees and verdant hills, it's hard to imagine a place so naturally spectacular as the Puerto Galera area, where in the background climbs Mount Malasimbo itself.
The grass-terraced amphitheater, 250m above sea level, overlooks Puerto Galera Bay, a member of  "The Most Beautiful Bays in the World".
The festival is seen as one of the most important in the country, helping to spearhed the country's continued advance in music, arts & culture.  It blends traditional & contemporary arts & culture with a holistic approach through reforestation & marine preservation

How To Get To Dangwa Flower Market

2005 when I started to explore flower market for my flower small business.  I would say that Dimasalang so far is the practical choice to look and find good flowers supply.  Reasons that it is more accessible for me and prices of wholesale products is cheaper than other flower market in the Philippines.

Dangwa Market, as popularly called by many to refer to the fresh flower market in Sampaloc, Manila where supplies come from various flower havens of the Philippines such as La Trinidad, Tagaytay City, Davao City, Laguna, etc., as well as imported from major sources of flowers outside the country such as Thailand, Australia and Holland.
