Summer Time in the
Philippines and on of the most well know
beaches in the country is Boracay!
June 2011, I had
fun and enjoyable get away with my friends in Boracay. Second time again to be
in a relaxing place of white sand and lots stuff to do.
Reposting this list
of events, the beautiful white powdered
sand and blue clear water of Boracay would absolutely makes your summer get
away more fun and exciting this year.
Traditionally the
peak season on Boracay is from November to May and hence it also sees the
island geared up to party and celebrate all the big holidays, Christmas and New
Year, Chinese New Year and Holy Week. These super-peak times are when Boracay
is at its busiest and liveliest with families and groups of friends flocking to
the island to make the most of the festivities. If you want a quieter break
then avoid these dates.
Other events held
at this time include amazing Halloween spectacles, fantastic Christmas and New
Year celebrations, the kiteboard and windsurfing championships are held in
early January, the Kalibo Ati-Atihan in late January and the Dragon Boat races
in May.
