Philippines: Malacañang of the North

I was wondering the how glamorous and extravagant this place when former Ferdinand Marcos staying here during his time, absolutely always welcome to high society those time.  His official residence in Ilocos Norte (also known as the White House of the North or Malacañang Ti Amianan).

Great architecture, a mixture of Spanish and Ilocano designs.  I love the wood paneled floors, the antique grand furnitures, and such spacious dining rooms, bedrooms and veranda which overlooks the Paoay Lake which now have been turned into a museum.
Malacañang of the North "Malacanang ti Amianan" is the other term used by Ilocanos to describe Malacañang of the North. This is the official residence of the former President Ferdinand Marcos in Ilocos Norte, built on a high point of land projecting into the sea right beyond the coastline of the legendary Paoay Lake, this enduring structure is now a museum.see: wikipilipinas.org
